David K. Hunter, DDS

Dr. Hunter obtained his bachelor’s degree while a student athlete at Sam Houston State University and his doctorate from Baylor College of Dentistry while a member of the honor society. He completed his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri, where he served as chief resident in his final year. Dr. Hunter also served at the Veterans Hospital during his residency.
Dr. Hunter’s clinical interest in pediatric surgery and dental implant reconstruction has been a constant within his practice. He is past president of the North Texas Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons and a previous instructor for Advanced Cardiovascular and Pediatric Life Support. Presently he serves as an examiner for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
He has been nominated by peers as a premier surgeon in his field and has been featured in Texas Monthly, Fort Worth, and D Magazine. Dr. Hunter and his wife, Kathy, have four children. When not at work, Dr. Hunter can be found spending time with his family and enjoying outdoor activities.
